Terms of Service

Monetina helps you track accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring items, shared expenses, reports, and forecasts. The service is currently free (see “Fees” below).

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Monetina.
• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at hello@monetina.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain all rights to the data you put into Monetina. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process it solely to provide the service to you — never to sell it or use it for advertising. You can export your data as CSV at any time, and deleting your account deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

When using Monetina you agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• probe, breach, or circumvent security or access measures, or access data that isn’t yours;
• interfere with the service’s operation, including by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
• scrape, resell, or provide the service to third parties;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

Monetina is a record-keeping and planning tool. Reports, forecasts, and currency conversions are informational, computed from the data you provide and from third-party exchange rates that may be delayed or inaccurate. Nothing in the service is investment, tax, or legal advice; for decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional.

Monetina is free today. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll give you clear advance notice, and you will never be charged without explicitly agreeing to a price.

We work to keep Monetina fast and available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available” — we can’t guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may add, change, or remove features. We recommend exporting your data periodically; we make that easy.

You can stop using Monetina, and delete your account from Settings, at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where the law requires it — where practical, with notice and a chance to export your data first.

To the fullest extent permitted by law: the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill); and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify you — by email or in the app — at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Monetina after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Monetina is established, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies instead.
